UTStarCom CF210

UTStarCom GF210 can work on tri-band GSM 850/1800/1900 or 900/1800/1900 MHz networks and WiFi networks, although WLAN and GPRS don’t work simultaneously, while the VoIP client allows the users to make voice calls via WiFi networks.

The candybar measures 106.5 x 44.5 x 20 mm and weighs 95 grams and has been recently approved by the US Federal Communications Commission.

Aside from the GSM and WiFi dual-mode, the mobile phone only brings a set of basic features including a 1.8 inch 65k color display, text messaging, polyphonic ringtones, call forwarding, call waiting /hold /barring /conferencing, MMS support, built-in games, a WAP browser, alarm clock, organizer, notes, calculator, measure converter, world time and stop watch, so basically, everything a basic user can’t do without when considering to purchase a mobile phone. …continue reading UTStarCom CF210

CECT IP1000

While the IP1000’s looks will appeal to some and disappoint others, the phone’s features will most likely not disappoint. The phone includes a 2.2 inch 260k touch-screen with a QVGA resolution, a 4 megapixel camera with auto focus and an electronic dictionary.

Users for whom music and video playback is very important when choosing a mobile phone will also most likely be interested in the CECT IP1000 that supports 24 hours of playtime for MP3 files, 12 hours for MP4 video files and can last up to 1000 hours in standby mode, which is either the reason why the phone was named IP1000 or simply a coincidence. …continue reading CECT IP1000

Pantech Sky IM-U150

IM-S150 by Pantech, a tiny clamshell with Korean traditional patterns and a sleek design, is now followed by a less tiny but still good looking model, going under the name of IM-U150. The white IM-U150 comes with some pretty interesting features like an external touch wheel for navigation, surround sound and 1GB of storage for music and video.

Also, according to some other info, the bulkier, more serious-looking U150 will also come with a 2 megapixel CMOS camera, MP3 support, a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion, in case you find the 1GB already provided to be too little for your song storing needs, Infrared for connectivity, a pretty large QVGA resolution display and Ev-DO for high-speed mobile

Samsung F519 CDMA Phone

Samsung F519 will work on CDMA 1X 800 MHz networks and will have almost the same specification sheet as its older brother, the E900.

It will feature the same touch sensitive buttons, will have a 1.9 inch 260k colors TFT LCD display working at a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels, a digital camera of 1.3 megapixel with CMOS sensor and LED Flash, integrated Java technology, a WAP 2.0 / xHTML browser and a document viewer with support for Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PDF files.

Also, the specification sheet mentions it will sport a built-in media player capable of playing MP3, AAC, AAC+, WMA and 3GP files (the 3GP video files being displayed at a resolution of 176 x 144 pixels), an internal memory of 43 MB, built-in hands-free, voice memo, wireless Bluetooth technology, all of them carefully tucked in a package weighing 85 grams and measuring 93.2 x 45.5 x 16.2 mm.

There is also a possibility that this phone will have an enabled flight mode feature that will let the users listen to music while disabling the connection to the carrier so they can use the handset even on airplanes and places where it is strictly forbidden.

All things taken in consideration, this new model from Samsung will take all the goodness from the E900 (almost all of it because its 2 megapixel camera has been replaced with a much lower quality one of 1.3 megapixel) and make it available for the people using the services of CDMA providers.
